A private office, built around a small number of long-term relationships.
Who we are
DHSZ is a private office based in London. We act as a single, trusted point of contact for the practical affairs of families and individuals: assistants and household staff, properties and vehicles, travel and daily administration.
We are deliberately small. Working with a limited number of clients allows us to know each household properly and to give it consistent attention, rather than spreading ourselves across a large book of accounts.
The name
DHSZ stands for the four things we hold ourselves to.
- Discretion
- What we see and hear in a client's life stays with us.
- Household
- The home, and the people and things around it, is the centre of our work.
- Stewardship
- We look after what is entrusted to us as if it were our own, and account for it.
- Zeal
- Care taken with the small things, every time, without being asked.
In Chinese the same four letters spell out a wish for a household: settled, harmonious, smooth-running and well-ordered.
Our philosophy
We believe private support should be felt as calm rather than seen as activity. The measure of our work is that things happen as they should, on time and without fuss, and that you are told what you need to know and nothing you don't.
We also believe in writing things down. Clear plans, clear records and clear reporting are the foundation of trust when a household's affairs are in someone else's hands.

- Travel & LifestyleItineraries, bookings, drivers and reservations, arranged so that travel and leisure simply work.
- Executive & Personal SupportAdministrative support that bridges business and private life: documents, meetings, suppliers and projects.

How we work
Every engagement begins with a conversation and a written proposal setting out scope, routines and reporting. From there, a named contact holds the relationship and coordinates whoever else is needed, whether members of our own team, household staff or external professionals.
We work in English and Mandarin. We keep records of what has been arranged and when, and we review the arrangement with you at agreed intervals so that it continues to fit.
Our approach in detailConfidentiality and trust
Confidentiality is a condition of our work, not a feature of it. Confidentiality terms are agreed before an engagement starts; staff we introduce sign them before they meet you; and information is shared within the team strictly on a need-to-know basis.
